"They call themselves the Guardians of the Galaxy…"
"What a bunch of a-holes."
I got to see Guardians of the Galaxy today! I went in with high expectations because of the positive early reviews, and I have to say it totally lived up to it. The movie was hilarious, heartfelt, action packed…and I loved it! Probably the best Marvel film to date imho, certainly the funniest. Also the soundtrack is AMAZING.
In which Hannibal and Bedelia celebrate their getaway in France…until their past catches up with them.
Hey, sorry for the late reply! To answer you question, for my illustrations I almost exclusively use Photoshop, it’s just the easiest to work with. It’s also expensive so I recommend downloading the 30 day trial Adobe offers just to see how you like it. I’ve never used GIMP but I hear it’s quite useful when you are starting out, but if you get more serious about your illustrations you should definitely switch to Photoshop. Hope that helps!
Character colour scheme exercises (3/3) - A Song of Ice and Fire
Here are some self-initiated colour scheme drawings, attempting to draw some of the awesome new characters from Dance and Feast that we will be seeing (hopefully) in the next Game of Thrones seasons.
Top to bottom:
Tyene, Obara & Nymeria Sand
Griff/ Jon Connington
Character colour scheme exercises (2/2) -Hannibal (& Sherlock)
Another set of these, mostly Hannibal with a rogue Sherlock thrown in. Had fun trying some different styles, and drawing some characters I hadn’t done before!
Character colour scheme exercises (1/2) - Game of Thrones
Thanks for sending in suggestions guys, these were really tricky but fun. Now after having read the books I’m also really starting to channel them in my GOT drawings, in particular with Ramsay’s Bolton pink :)
Thanks a bunch for everyone’s messages for the colour meme thing! I should get through all of them during the weekend, I’ll post them here grouped according to fandom. You can still send a request in if you want, though there is no guarantee that I’ll get to it :)
I fancy trying this, feel free to send me some prompts! (definitely hannibal, sherlock, got/asoiaf, might do other stuff too if I know it)
One of my favourite visuals from the ASOIAF books, Jaime sitting on the iron throne after killing the mad king!
I very much hope this is the first scene in the first episode of season 3: All the people that Hannibal has hurt getting together and deciding how to catch the bastard.
also everybody is still alive nobody died what are you talking about
